Central Gardens Wreath Run

About this event

Join us on November 22, 2026 for the Fourth Annual Central Gardens Wreath Run 5K and Youth Fun Run, a neighborhood favorite that has quickly become one of Memphis' most festive holiday traditions.

Set among the historic homes and tree-lined streets of Central Gardens, the Wreath Run offers a one-of-a-kind experience as runners and walkers make their way through the neighborhood adorned with hundreds of wreaths and seasonal decorations. Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a leisurely stroll with friends, or cheering from the sidelines, there's something for everyone.

The fun begins and ends on Belvedere, where participants and neighbors can gather after the race for live music, refreshments, and community celebration. The fun starts at 1:00 p.m. and continues until 5:00 p.m. Costumes and holiday attire are encouraged, adding to the festive spirit that has made the Wreath Run a cherished tradition for runners and residents alike.

The event also features a Youth Fun Run, giving younger participants a chance to join in the excitement and create memories of their own.

More than just a race, the Central Gardens Wreath Run celebrates the spirit of the season and the sense of community that makes Central Gardens such a special place in Memphis.

Let’s show off that famous Central Gardens spirit with lights, music and plenty of good vibes. To help encourage the festivities and create a great atmosphere for our runners, we are holding a Deck the Route contest. The top 3 decorated houses along the route will win prizes and be recognized after the race. If you would like to participate, please complete this short form.
